What could give us greater encouragement than these brave Muslims actively turning away from Islam and standing up for liberty, freedom of speech and a world free from religion and superstition? A dream coming true?

Fair-minded manifesto for the 21st Century

1) Universal rights and equal citizenship for all. We are opposed to cultural relativism and the tolerance of inhuman beliefs, discrimination and abuse in the name of respecting religion or culture.
2) Freedom to criticise religion. Prohibition of restrictions on unconditional freedom of criticism and expression using so-called religious "sanctities".
3) Freedom of religion and atheism.
4) Separation of religion from the state and legal and educational system.
5) Prohibition of religious customs, rules, ceremonies or activities that are incompatible with or infringe people's rights and freedoms.
6) Abolition of all restrictive and repressive cultural and religious customs which hinder and contradict women's independence, free will and equality. Prohibition of segregation of sexes.
7) Prohibition of interference by any authority, family members or relatives, or official authorities in the private lives of women and men and their personal, emotional and sexual relationships and sexuality.
8) Protection of children from manipulation and abuse by religion and religious institutions.
9) Prohibition of any kind of financial, material or moral support by the state or state institutions to religion and religious activities and institutions.
10) Prohibition of all forms of religious intimidation and threats.

Manifiesto de la libre conciencia para el siglo XXI

1) Derechos universales e igualdad de ciudadanía para todos. Nos oponemos al relativismo cultural y a la tolerancia con respecto a las creencias inhumanas, la discriminación y el abuso en nombre del respeto a la religión o a la cultura.
2) Libertad para criticar a la religión. Prohibición de las restricciones a la libertad incondicional de crítica y de expresión bajo la apariencia del "carácter sagrado" de lo religioso.
3) Libertad de religión y de ateísmo.
4) Separación de la religión con respecto al Estado en el sistema educativo y legal.
5) Prohibición de costumbres, normas, ceremonias o actividades que sean incompatibles con o infrinjan los derechos y libertades de los pùeblos.
6) Abolición de toda costumbre religiosa o cultural restrictiva y represiva, que obstaculice y contradiga la independencia de las mujeres, su igualdad y su libre voluntad. Prohibición de la segregación sexual.
7) Prohibición de toda intromisión por parte de las autoridades o de los miembros de la familia en las vidas privadas de mujeres y hombres y en sus relaciones personales, emocionales o sexuales.
8) Protección a los niños con respecto a la manipulación y el abuso por parte de la religión y de sus instituciones.
9) Prohibición de cualquier tipo de apoyo económico, material o moral por parte del Estado y de sus instituciones a la religión y a las instituciones y actividades relacionadas con ella.
10) Prohibición de toda forma de amenazas o de intimidación religiosa.
